RHS Herbaceous Perennial
A clump-forming perennial to about 30cm high, forming a mound of lobed, plum purple leaves with an almost glossy sheen on the upper surface, deepening to dark metallic purple over the summer. Loose sprays of small white flowers open from pink buds in early summer
