A compact, deciduous shrub to 60cm high, with dense foliage of small, blue-green leaves with a hint of dark burgundy red, turning to a richer red in the autumn. Colour is dependent on light levels. Clusters of small, white flowers appear in late spring to summer. Makes a great low hedge
