An elegant weeping, grafted, large, slow-growing shrub/small tree up to 5m in height and with branches which cascade to the ground. It does not get any taller than the trunk it is grafted on. Leaves are green turning red, gold and purple in autumn. A profusion of large white pointed bracts surrounding small flower heads cloak the plant in late spring/early summer and turn pink at maturity. Small spherical, red-pink, edible fruit ripen in late summer
