How to Grow

Cultivation

Thrives in well-drained soil, preferably in a sunny, sheltered position for best flowering performance. Plant bulbs 10cm apart with the neck of the bulb showing above the soil; in colder areas plants will benefit from winter protection. See nerine cultivation

Propagation

Propagate by division after flowering or by bulb chipping. Propagation by seed is possible with some nerines, but may be difficult as the seeds are very fleshy, don't store well and plants grown from seed can take up to 7 years to flower. See bulb propagation for further advice
