A compact, clump-forming decidous herbaceous perennial to 95cm, with ovate green leaves, silvery on the reverse, and upright, slender spikes of colourful buds opening to red bottlebrush-like flowers which appear from summer through until the autumn. Suitable for smaller gardens or at the front of a flower border
