A very large 'tree' dahlia to around 3m in height, grown mainly for its fresh green foliage as it has an almost tropical feel. Thick, sturdy stems are bamboo-like and the large leaves are similar to Elder in shape. May produce single pink-purple flowers with orange centres from late October if grown in milder parts of the country or in a conservatory or greenhouse
