A small, late, dessert apple, with finely russetted, golden skin. At its best the tender, creamy-yellow flesh has an intense, rich, nutty, sweet-sharp flavour, sometimes likened to pineapple. Compact, upright trees tend to biennial bear, producing heavy crops in mid-autumn which store to early winter. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator
