A compact, spreading tree with large, shiny, rounded leaves and white blossom in spring. The medium-to-large, pear-shaped, dessert fruit have rough, light green skin, turning bright yellow, with variable russetting and sometimes a red flush. Flesh is white, coarse and soft but has little flavour; a reliable cropper, but there are many better choices. Pick in early autumn and use to mid-autumn. Not self-fertile, triploid, in pollination group 3
