A modern, Swiss-bred mid-season dessert apple; a mixture of Golden Delicious pollinated by Cox's Orange Pippin, with small, orange to pale red skinned fruit and a more intense, honey wine-like flavour than its parents. May be difficult to cultivate as it isn't a vigorous grower and may be susceptible to scab. This doesn't impact the flavour of the fruit, but may impact the appearance. Pink blossom appears in the spring. It is self sterile, pollination group 3, crops in late September and stores well into the new year
