An evergreen shrub with thin, arching shoots and yellow-mottled leaves. From summer to autumn it produces pendent, bell-shaped red and orange flowers. Can be grown against a sunny wall in very sheltered areas, elsewhere it is best grown in a pot and moved under glass over winter

Cultivation

Under glass, grow in loam-based compost in full light. While in growth water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser monthly. Water sparingly in winter. In milder areas train against a warm wall
