A hardy, evergreen shrub approximately 10-15cm tall with a spread to 21-25cm. It has copper coloured foliage in summer with brilliant orange and red flecks for the most of the year, that is liable to revert to plain green. Mauve coloured flowers appear from summer through to autumn.
