A slow-growing, evergreen conifer to around 0.8-2m in height, with a rounded and dense habit. The compact and squat foliage is blue/grey green, the thickness of the foliage lends itself well to trimming and shaping. Ideal as a specimen tree or in a rock garden

Cultivation

Grow in full sun or light shade in a consistently moist but well drained, fertile soil. Prefers acid or neutral soils but will tolerate chalky soil. See Conifer cultivation
