Shrubs Fruit Edible
A low, spreading, deciduous shrub about 1m tall, with glossy mid-green leaves. Clusters of scarlet-red flowers produced along bare stems in spring, are followed by green fruits ripening to yellow. These can be used to make jams and jellies but please see notes on toxicity for further advice
