An autumn-flowering crocus, also know as saffron, growing to 10cm, with relatively large, purple goblet-shaped flowers with darker blue veining, and orange anthers followed by long, narrow, dark green leaves. Said to be the darkest speciosus cultivar, but often confused with other cultivars, commercially.
