A tough, resilient species of evergreen to semi-evergreen alpine perennial to around 15cm in height, forming a mound of aromatic, silvery-green, soft, ferny, deeply lobed foliage which turns almost white in periods of drought. Clusters of pure white, flat-topped, 5-petalled flowers appear in April to May. A great addition to rock and alpine gardens and borders and drought-tolerant once established. Attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects
