'Burrow Silver' is an evergreen perennial with narrow, cream-edged, green leaves and large, showy clusters of similarly variegated flower bracts, containing small green-yellow, flowers from early spring to mid summer
'John Tomlinson' is an erect, open-habited medium-sized evergreen perennial with narrow grey-green leaves and large rounded heads of bright yellow-green flowers
'Jimmy Platt' is an evergreen perennial or sub-shrub, a little over 1m tall and wide, with narrow, bluish, grey-green leaves with a pale midrib. Yellow-green flowers are produced in spring and summer
'Purple and Gold' is an evergreen subshrub or shrubby perennial to around 1.5m tall. Leaves are a dull green in summer but turn purple in autumn and winter. Large, bright yellow and green flowerheads are borne from spring into summer
E. × martini is a dwarf evergreen sub-shrub to 60cm in height, with narrow, dark grey-green leaves and open sprays of greenish-yellow flowers, sometimes purple-eyed
'Black Pearl' is a compact cultivar of E. characias with lime green flowers and clearly visible black nectar glands
'Glacier Blue' is an evergreen perennial with narrow, cream-edged, blue-green leaves and large, showy clusters of creamy flowers, with green eyes, in spring and summer
'Portuguese Velvet' is a compact evergreen perennial to 60cm tall, with narrow grey-green leaves and cylindrical clusters of dark-eyed, bright greenish-yellow flowers from early spring to early summer
'Humpty Dumpty' is a compact, evergreen perennial to 60cm, with grey-green leaves and terminal clusters of bright, yellow-green flowers with a dark red eye
E. characias subsp. wulfenii is an erect, sparsely-branched medium-sized sub-shrub with oblong, grey-green leaves and large, rounded heads of greenish-yellow flowers
