It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
'Danielle' is a herbaceous perennial, up to 70cm high, with dark green lance-shaped leaves and beautifully-scented weather-resistant pure white flowers over a long period in midsummer
'Prince of Orange' is an erect herbaceous perennial to 80cm tall, with lance-shaped leaves and fragrant, orange-red flowers in large terminal panicles in mid summer
'White Admiral' is an herbaceous perennial of upright habit, to 90cm tall, with lance-shaped leaves and panicles of fragrant, pure white flowers in mid and late summer
'Rosa Pastell' is a herbaceous perennial, up to 70cm high, with dark stems, green lance-shaped leaves and highly-scented, pale pink flowers with a darker eye, from dark buds, in mid and late summer
'Prospero' is an herbaceous perennial to 90cm tall, with dark green lance-shaped leaves and terminal panicles of fragrant, white-eyed, light lilac-purple flowers with pale-edged petals, in early summer
'Blue Paradise' is an upright perennial to 1.2m tall, with lance-shaped leaves and rounded heads of fragrant, dark-eyed violet-blue flowers in early summer
'Grey Lady' is a bushy, upright herbaceous perennial, growing to a height of 1m, with narrow, green leaves and pale lavender-grey clusters of fragrant flowers from midsummer; flowering earlier than many other cultivars
'Miss Mary' is a perennial up to 1m in height, with oval green leaves. Clusters of scented deep-pink flowers are borne during midsummer. A very floriferous and colourful cultivar
'Miss Pepper' is a herbaceous perennial, up to 1m high, with dark stems, green lance-shaped leaves and weather-resistant sweetly-fragrant pink flowers, with a dark pink eye and purplish calyces, from mid to late summer
Peacock Neon Purple is a herbaceous perennial, up to 60cm high, with green, lance-shaped leaves and scented, vivid purple-pink flowers from dark buds in midsummer
