'Variegatum' is a bushy evergreen shrub with ovate leaves margined with yellow, and small white flowers in winter and early spring
V. tinus is a large, evergreen shrub to 3m with dark green, oval leaves. Clusters of small, creamy-white flowers, often pink-tinged in bud, are produced over a long period in late winter and spring, followed by blue-black berries
'Lisarose' is a large, dense, bushy, evergreen shrub with dark green leaves. The flower buds form in early autumn, turning deep brick-red as the temperature drops. The small, pink and white flowers open in rounded clusters from mid-winter to mid-spring, followed by dark blue berries
'Lucidum' is a vigorous, evergreen shrub, to 4m tall, with narrowly-ovate to oblong, glossy, dark green leaves to 10cm long. Small, creamy-white flowers are borne in flattened flowerheads, up to 10cm in diameter, from late winter into spring and are followed by blue-black berries
'Gwenllian' is a bushy medium-sized evergreen shrub with neat, dark green, ovate leaves and compact clusters of starry white flowers opening in late winter from reddish buds, and followed by ovoid metallic-blue berries
'French White' is a vigorous bushy evergreen shrub to 3m, with dark green ovate leaves and flat cymes of white flowers in late winter and spring, followed by blue-black berries
V. tinus 'Purpureum' is a large, evergreen shrub to 3m with dark green leaves. New growth is tinted bronzy-purple. Clusters of small, white flowers, often pink-tinged in bud, are produced over a long period in late winter and spring, followed by blue-black berries
'Eve Price' is a bushy, medium-sized evergreen shrub with broadly oval, leathery dark green leaves and, from late winter, flattened clusters of deep pink buds opening to small, starry white flowers. Berries deep metallic-blue
'Little Bognor' is a more compact evergreen shrub than the species, growing to about 2m, with dark green leaves. Clusters of small, white flowers, often pink-tinged in bud, are produced over a long period in late winter and spring, followed by blue-black berries
