AGM plants have been through a rigorous trial and assessment programme. They are:
'Dove' is a compact, upright plant to 50cm, with divided leaves and somewhat upward-facing, white flowers with straight spurs, sometimes tinged pink at the tips
Aquilegia vulgaris, the wild species is usually blue, with nodding "bonnets", but many purple, mauve, pink and white colour variants have developed in gardens during its long history in cultivation
A. flabellata var. pumila f. alba is a dwarf perennial to 20cm tall, with light green, divided leaves and nodding, creamy-white flowers 3cm wide
A. canadensis is a slender herbaceous perennial to 60cm, with divided, dark green basal leaves and erect stems bearing nodding flowers 3-5cm long, with pale yellow petals and erect, scarlet sepals with straight spurs
'Nivea' is an upright plant to 80cm, with divided, light green leaves and abundant, pure white flowers 5cm in width, with short, curled spurs
'Chaffinch' is an upright perennial with attractive, divided leaves and nodding flowers. They have light, rose-pink sepals, soft-yellow petals and slightly spreading, rose-pink spurs
'Georgia' is an upright plant to 60cm with large bicoloured flowers facing upward; very floriferous
Music Series is a compact short-lived perennial to 45cm, with long-spurred flowers in shades of red, yellow, blue or white, often bicolored
'Yellow Queen' is a cultivar of the vigorous, clump-forming species. In May and June it bears exaggeratedly spurred flowers, the central petals being dark yellow, the outer flower parts contrastingly lighter. Foliage is mid green, divided and fern-like
'Hensol Harebell' is an erect herbaceous perennial to 90cm, with divided leaves tinted purple in late summer, and nodding, rich violet-blue flowers 5cm wide, with short, hooked spurs
