'Nigra' is a vigorous biennial or short-lived perennial, to 2m tall, with shallowly-lobed, rounded leaves and long erect racemes of single, open funnel-shaped, deep chocolate-maroon flowers
M. alcea is a perennial with erect or spreading stems to 120cm, sometimes more. Upper leaves usually very deeply divided, soft green. Flowers bright pink, saucer-shaped, in axillary and terminal clusters and produced over a long flowering season. Flowers and leaves similar to those of the native M. moschata, but on a much taller plant
'Halo Blush' is a perennial to 2m tall with lobed green leaves and tall spikes of large, white to pale pink flowers with a contrasting ,deep pink central halo borne in the summer
'Halo White' is a perennial to 2m tall with lobed green leaves, and in summer, large, single, white flowers with a yellow centre
A. rosea is a robust biennial or short-lived perennial to 2m or more, with shallowly lobed, rounded leaves and long erect racemes of open funnel-shaped flowers to 10cm across, which may be pink, purple, red, white or yellow
'Halo Apricot' is a perennial to 2m tall with lobed green leaves and, in summer, long flower spikes bearing large, apricot-pink flowers with contrasting deep pink centres
'Parkallee' is a tall, bushy perennial to 2.5m with lobed, softly hairy, grey-green leaves. Tall spires of apricot-cream, semi-double, hollyhock-like flowers are produced from mid-summer to early autumn
'Mars Magic' is a herbaceous perennial producing a mound of soft, five-lobed foliage and 1.8m tall spires of large, rich ruby-red flowers in summer
