'Hot Bisquit' is an upright annual with ovate mid-green leaves and coppery-orange, branched flower spikes
A. caudatus is a bushy, erect annual or biennial, with large ovate leaves and drooping, crimson tassel-like racemes of tiny flowers in summer and autumn
A. tricolor has long been grown in gardens for its multi-coloured foliage. Flowers are insignificant, and plants may have a rather sprawling habit
'Green Thumb' is a bushy upright-growing annual to 60cm, with large, oblong, purple leaves and erect, plume-like, bright yellow-green inflorescences from summer to early autumn. Good for cutting or drying
'Marvel Bronze' has an upright habit with flower spikes and leaves in shades of crimson and dark red
'Velvet Curtains' has an upright habit with flower spikes and leaves in shades of crimson and dark red
'Golden Giant' is a substantial plant with prolific arching yellow-brown flower spikes in summer and autumn. This cultivar has been grown as a grain crop
'Pygmy Torch' is a compact annual with lance-shaped green leaves and erect, deep maroon inflorescences, good for drying
'Red Army' is an upright annual to about 1.2m with dark red foliage, stems and flowers
Autumn Palette Group plants produce feathery spikes of flowers in "earth" colours such as rust-red, orange, brown and cream, in summer and autumn. Some seed mixtures may have a preponderance of pale colours
