'Alba' is a compact, evergreen, mat-forming perennial to 8cm high and 15cm wide. The neat tufts of needle-like, grey-green leaves are topped with tiny white flowers in spring
'Alba' is a short, mat-forming, evergreen perennial with small, grass-like leaves. Clusters of white flowers on 15cm stems appear over a long period in late spring and summer
A. maritima is a mat-forming evergreen perennial with dense, needle-like leaves and erect scapes to 15cm, bearing compact clusters of cup-shaped pink flowers in late spring and summer
'Düsseldorfer Stolz' is a cushion-forming, evergreen perennial, to 20cm tall, with dark green, grass-like leaves and purplish-pink flowers in tight clusters on erect stems in late spring and summer
'Ballerina Red' is a compact, evergreen perennial or sub-shrub with lance-shaped leaves and round heads of many small red flowers held on stiff stems in late spring and summer
'In the Red' is a herbaceous perennial, up to 15cm high, with purple-tinged, evergreen, grass-like leaves and pink flowers in late spring and early summer
'Bevan's Variety' is a compact evergreen perennial forming low mats to 15cm in width, with needle-like leaves and rosy-pink flowers on stems to 5cm in height
A. pseudarmeria is a clump-forming sub-shrub with narrow leaves to 20cm long. Drumstick clusters of white or pale pink flowers, 3-4cm across on stems 25-50cm tall, are produced in summer
A. juniperifolia is a compact evergreen perennial forming dense mats to 30cm in width. Pale pink flowers are borne in late spring, on stems 2-5cm in height, above dark green, needle-like leaves
'Joystick Red' is a compact, evergreen perennial or sub-shrub forming a low mound of narrow, grass-like leaves. Upright stems bear rounded flowerheads, 3-4cm across, made up of clusters of small dark pink to ruby red flowers from late spring into summer
