'Variegata' is a semi-evergreen or deciduous sedge forming a spreading clump of broadly linear, grass-like leaves which are bright green, edged and striped with creamy-white; small brown flower-spikes open before the new leaves in early spring
'Frosted Curls' is an evergreen perennial creating a mop-head of very slender, shimmering, silvery-green leaves. The flowers are insignificant
C. flacca is an evergreen, slowly-creeping sedge, to 45cm tall, with stiff, hair-like leaves which are green above and a glaucous blue beneath. In early summer, 4cm long purple-brown flower spikes are borne on arching stems
C. pendula is a vigorous rhizomatous perennial forming large clumps of dark green, linear, pleated leaves, with tall stems bearing several slender, drooping flower spikes
C. dipsacea is an evergreen sedge forming dense clumps, to 75cm tall, of hair-like, olive-green leaves. In winter, the foliage takes on orange, yellow and bronze tints - especially when grown in full sun. In summer, flower stems shorter than the leaves bear between four and eight black flower spikes up to 2.5cm long
'Evergold' is an evergreen sedge forming a clump to 30cm in height, the narrow arching leaves each with a central yellow stripe. Flower spikes, brown, inconspicuous
C. hirta is an evergreen sedge, spreading by rhizomes, with loosely tufted, narrow, hairy foliage. Greenish flowers appear in upright, cylindrical clusters in summer, followed by small, green fruit
'Variegatus' is a compact, tufted semi-evergreen perennial to 30cm in height, with narrow leaves margined with creamy-yellow
C. comans bronze-leaved is an evergreen perennial to 30cm, forming a dense tuft of narrowly linear, reddish-brown leaves, with inconspicuous brown flower spikes in late summer
