It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
'Pink Gin' is a compact, clump-forming perennial to 45cm tall with lance-shaped green leaves narrowly edged with silver-white. Pale pink flowers with a darker centre are borne on erect stems from summer into autumn
Papillon is a compact herbaceous perennial to about 40cm, producing loose, upright spikes of delicate white flowers, over a long period from late spring to early autumn
'Corrie's Gold' is an upright herbaceous perennial, to 75cm, with narrow, light green foliage edged with yellow. Airy spires of pinky-white flowers are produced from late spring to early autumn
Rosyjane is a bicoloured perennial cultivar with white flowers that are flushed pink from the edges, held on graceful long stems. Green foliage is mottled purple and the flower buds are dark pink in bud
Karalee white is a compact, upright, clump-forming perennial to around 60cm tall with mid-green, lance-shaped leaves. White flowers to 2.5cm across open from pink buds and are borne on the slender, branching stems from late spring into autumn
G. lindheimeri is a bushy perennial with slender erect stems bearing small spoon-shaped leaves and starry white or pink-tinged flowers in loose racemes in summer and autumn
'Whirling Butterflies' is an upright herbaceous perennial to about 80cm, producing airy spires of delicate white flowers with long white stamens, opening from pink buds over a long period from late spring to early autumn
Freefolk Rosy is a herbaceous perennial with variegated green, cream and purple foliage. The flowers are white with a pink, picotee edge opening from deep pink buds from late spring to early autumn
Gaudi Red is a compact, bushy perennial, to 30cm tall, with narrow, lance-shaped dark green leaves tinted a deep burgundy-red. From summer into early autumn, this cultivar bears deep pink-red flowers on red stems
'Little Janie' is a compact, clump-forming perennial to 45cm tall with lance-shaped green leaves. Pink and white flowers open from dark pink buds in summer into autumn
