'Aureomarginatum' is a strong-growing medium-sized deciduous tree with distinctively-shaped leaves margined with yellow, later green. Flowers 4cm in length, tulip-shaped, greenish-yellow and orange
'Fastigiatum' is a broadly columnar tree to 20m tall, with erect branches bearing typical, lobed foliage turning yellow in autumn, and pale green flowers in summer when mature, each petal marked with orange near the base
L. tulipifera is a vigorous large deciduous tree with distinctively shaped leaves turning butter-yellow in autumn. Flowers 4cm in length, tulip-shaped, yellowish-green, marked with orange within
L. chinense is a vigorous upright tree to 25m tall, with leaves divided into three lobes, the large terminal one truncated, turning yellow in autumn; cup-shaped pale green, yellow-veined flowers 2cm long are produced in summer, only on mature trees
'Snow Bird' is an upright, deciduous tree with a pyramidal crown eventually reaching to 20m tall. Its distinctively lobed and variegated leaves are green with creamy-white margins and turn yellow in autumn. Mature specimens produce tulip-shaped, greenish flowers with orange markings at the base of each petal
