It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
'Porzellan' is a clump-forming perennial, to 60cm high, with dark-green, lance-shaped leaves. Pale lavender flowers, with yellow centres, are borne from late summer into autumn
'Purple Dome' is a cultivar with an upright but domed habit that reaches around 60cm in height. It bears semi-double, purple flowers with yellow centres in autumn
'Rosenwichtel' is a compact, clump-forming perennial forming a dense mound of dark green foliage to 30cm high. Clusters of semi-double, daisy-like pink flowerheads with golden-yellow centres are borne above the foliage in late summer and autumn
'Professor Anton Kippenberg' is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial, up to 45cm high, with lance-shaped green leaves. Clustered, daisy-like, semi-double lilac-blue flowerheads, with yellow discs, are borne in late summer and autumn
'Herbstschnee' is a perennial to 1.2m tall, with lance-shaped leaves and open sprays of yellow-centred flowers 5cm across, with many narrow white rays, opening from late summer to late autumn
'Fellowship' is an upright perennial to 90cm tall, with narrow leaves and sprays of double, clear pink flowers to 6cm wide in autumn
'Chatterbox' is a compact, clump-forming perennial, to 40cm tall, with lance-shaped, grey-green leaves. Semi-double, lilac-pink flowers with yellow centres are borne on slender, branched stems in autumn
'Ada Ballard' is an upright, clump-forming herbaceous perennial, to 90cm high, with lance-shaped leaves. In autumn, it bears double, violet-blue, daisy-like flowers with yellow centres, up to 7.5cm across, on slender, branched stems
'Marie Ballard' is a clump-forming perennial with sprays of fully double, light violet-blue flowerheads in late summer and autumn
'Coombe Fishacre' is a spreading, bushy perennial, with neat, dark foliage and sprays of small pale lilac-pink daisies with brownish-pink centres in late summer and autumn
