It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
'Gallery Pablo' is a compact plant to 50cm, with light coral-red flowerheads, the florets shading to apricot-yellow towards the base
'April Heather' is a green-leaved cultivar to 1.25m tall producing flowers 10-15cm across from summer into autumn. Flowerheads comprise pale yellow outer florets flushed with pale pink and an inner collar of yellow florets fading to white at the tips surrounding a golden-yellow eye
'Cascade Ken' grows to 170cm. The flowers are up to 12cm across with broad, velvety-red outer florets narrow, pink inner ones and a bold, yellow, central disc
'Cameo' grows to 1.2m tall with flowers 10-15cm in diameter. Blooms comprising cream florets shading to a pale yellow at the base are borne above dark green divided foliage in summer and autumn
'Alva's Doris' grows to 1.2m in height, with divided, dark green foliage and rich blood-red flowers 12cm in width
'Bishop of York' is a tuberous perennial to 1m in height with toothed, pinnate, dark brown-green leaves. Single to semi-double, orange-flushed, yellow flowers are borne from midsummer to early autumn
'Twyning's Smartie' grows to around 100cm with mid-green foliage. The petals may be all white, all red-purple, or a random mixture, including some with stripes
'Starsister Red-yellow' is a dwarf cultivar with green foliage that flowers in summer and early autumn. An inner collar of yellow petals are set around a golden-yellow eye and against an outer circle of red petals
'Weston Spanish Dancer' grows to 1.3m, with flowerheads 13cm diameter, the florets pale yellow flushed with deep red on the margins and towards the tips
'Pink Pastelle' grows to 1.5m in height, with divided leaves and flowers 18cm in width, the outer florets rose-pink, inner ones white, tipped with rose-pink
