J. officinale f. affine is a vigorous twining shrub with pinnate leaves and clusters of fragrant, pink-tinged white flowers 4cm across, opening in summer from pink buds
J. × stephanense is a strong-growing deciduous shrub with twining stems, simple or pinnate leaves and small, fragrant pale pink flowers in summer
J. angulare is a scrambling or twining evergreen shrub with paired, pinnate leaves and sprays of very fragrant, starry white flowers 3cm across in late summer and autumn
'Clotted Cream' is a larger-flowered cultivar than the species. Flowering from June until August, it has a hint of pink in bud and light lemon and cream in flower
J. sambac is a twining or scrambling evergreen shrub with glossy simple leaves and clusters of very fragrant white flowers 2.5cm across, in summer and sporadically at other times
J. azoricum is a twining or scrambling evergreen shrub to 3m or more, with dark green leaves composed of three wavy-edged, ovate leaflets, and fragrant white flowers 2.5cm across, in terminal panicles
J. nudiflorum is a medium-sized deciduous shrub with long, arching branches. Leaves small, trifoliate. Flowers to 2.5cm in width, bright yellow in winter and spring
J. polyanthum is a strong-growing evergreen twiner to 3m or more, with dark green, pinnate leaves and axillary panicles of very fragrant, long-tubed white flowers 2cm across, opening from pink buds
J. odoratissimum is a scrambling, shrubby, evergreen climber to 2.5m or more, with mid-green leaves and fragrant, pure yellow, star-shaped flowers 2.5cm across, in small clusters from spring to autumn, and into winter if warm enough, sometimes followed by black, berry-like fruit
'Argenteovariegatum' is a large deciduous climbing shrub. Leaves pinnate with 5-9 ovate leaflets, grey-green edged with cream. Flowers 2cm in width, white, scented
