'Pensham Charlotte Louise' is a herbaceous perennial 75cm high with semi-evergreen leaves and many flowers which are deep pink-red, the throats striped with pale pink and white and edged in darker pink, from midsummer to early autumn
'Hewell Pink Bedder' is a perennial to 80cm in height, with grey-green foliage and narrow panicles of bright reddish-pink, tubular bell-shaped flowers 4.5cm in length, streaked with deep red on the white throat
'Rubicundus' is a stiffly erect semi-evergreen perennial to 1m in height, with dark foliage and stems. Flowers 5cm across the lobes, bright crimson with prominent white throat
P. rupicola is a creeping dwarf evergreen sub-shrub to 6cm in height, with small, rounded glaucous leaves and tubular, two-lipped rosy-pink flowers 3cm in length opening from late spring
'Windsor Red' is a semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial, 75cm high, with green leaves, and many rich red flowers with red and white throats from early summer to late autumn
'Connie's Pink' is an upright semi-evergreen perennial to 1.2m in height, with light green foliage and erect racemes or panicles of bright rose-pink flowers 3cm in length, striped deep red on the white throats
'Sweet Cherry' (Ice Cream Series) is a semi-evergreen perennial to 60cm tall, with deep green slender leaves and upright panicles of tubular cherry red flowers with white throats, borne over a long period from summer to autumn
A selection that bears wind-red flowers with purple streaking. Height to around 70cm
'Countess of Dalkeith' is an upright perennial to 60cm tall, with narrow leaves and bell-shaped reddish-purple flowers with a conspicuous white throat
'Southgate Gem' is a herbaceous perennial 70-75cm high with semi-evergreen leaves and deep pink-red flowers with burgundy and white throats from midsummer to midautumn
