RHS Interchange Fellow 2017-18

I hope that this experience will result in a more holistic understanding of the collection, preservation, and sharing of seeds.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I have a degree in Anthropology, Biology, and Environmental Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, US.

My thesis research explored cultural preservation in Southern US agriculture and I hope to continue to examine the relationships between people, seeds, and plants throughout the 10-month programme in the UK.

I'm excited to learn more about these endeavours in a new region and hope that this experience will result in a more holistic understanding of the collection, preservation, and sharing of seeds.

I also hope to take part in placements at RHS Garden Wisley, the Millennium Seed Bank, Cambridge Botanic Garden, Chelsea Physic Garden, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and the Eden Project.
