RHS People’s Choice Award

The intricate details of this Show Garden won the hearts of voters. With a rich variety of habitats for both birds and the insects they feed on, the garden featured meadow edges, woodland areas, wetlands, stone features and quiet, sheltered spots for rest. The replicated stone barn was filled with treasures, giving the whole space a grounded, homely feel and a strong sense of place.

This Indoor Plant Garden transported voters back to the 1970s, with a vivid backdrop that perfectly set off a lush jungle of houseplants. Pattern and texture ran throughout, from bold fabrics to striking leaf forms, creating a space that felt warm, inviting and uplifting. Retro, recycled and upcycled materials promoted affordable, sustainable living, all wrapped in a splash of joyful nostalgia.

This colourful Blooming Border brought many smiles with its clever design and rainbow of colour. Planting included geums, alliums and heucheras, gathered around a focal water bowl that reflected the sky. The whole space was shaped like an eye, complete with lower eyelashes formed from dark Ophiopogon grass and upper lashes of bamboo filled with succulents.
