For over 60 years, we have been building a community of individuals living with one of these rare conditions, families and carers, scientists, health professionals, supporters, volunteers, and donors. Making advances that would have been unthinkable just ten years ago.

We want more people to know about Muscular Dystrophy and what it is like to live with a muscle wasting or weakening condition. Part of the challenge of a diagnosis is that no one has heard of it, you know no one living with it - not only is it terrifying but those diagnosed have to explain it to everyone from family, friends, teachers, colleagues and even GPs. Awareness is vital to ensure that inclusivity is at the forefront of daily lives.
