Arit Anderson wins RHS/BBC People’s Choice award 2026

The people voted and decided that Arit Anderson, designer of the Parkinson’s UK – A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey was their Best Show Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The winning garden has been designed for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to enjoy while waiting for outpatient care. Arit’s beautiful, joy-filled planting captured the visitor’s and audience’s hearts. The creation of the garden has been an emotional one for Arit, as her sister has the condition. “This is a personal garden for me as my sister is living with Parkinson’s, so I really wanted to raise awareness of this little-understood condition,” said Arit.
