    History of Gin Making

As part of the Festival Of Flavours, join the Worsley Gin team at RHS Garden Bridgewater as they give a Masterclass introduction to gin and its history and explain how the Bridgewater Canal was the spark that ignited the 'explosion' of gin in the late 1700s.

After this insightful talk, there is a demonstration of the full distillation process, from botanical selection to the refined liquid production, featuring Worsley Gin's very own mini still.

Finally, learn the perfect way to present your G&T with a perfect serve demonstration, where you'll also get to make your very own Worsley gin and tonic perfect serve. The team is on hand throughout the session, so bring along any questions you may have about hand-crafted gin and its distillation process.

What’s included:
  • Welcome drink on arrival
  • Demonstration of a real still
  • Create your own perfect serve Worsley Gin G&T
  • £5 off voucher for a bottle of Worsley Gin from the RHS Bridgewater Garden Centre
Please note: Admission to RHS Garden Bridgewater is not included in the price of your workshop ticket. The garden is open between 10am and 6pm, if you'd like to explore the garden and the rest of the Festival of Flavours event you will need to book your admission ticket.
