Summer Fruit Pruning
Join RHS Garden Bridgewater Curator, Marcus Chilton-Jones for an in-depth walk and talk all about summer top fruit pruning. This workshop is suitable for confident gardeners with some existing horticultural knowledge. Learn the underpinning principles of summer pruning restricted forms of top fruit with a focus on apples and pears to increase both productivity and improve plant health. Followed by an opportunity to view these principles put in to practice in our walled garden. You will also get a chance to put these skills into operation. The tour will be approximately two hours in length and the majority will be outside in the Garden. Please wear sturdy footwear, weather suitable attire and bring garden gloves with you.
