Eucalyptus nova-anglica

An evergreen tree growing to around 25m (83⅓ft) high with rough, grey to black bark on the trunk and smooth lighter grey and brown bark on the branches. Juvenile foliage is circular and glaucous green, while adult foliage is aromatic, green and lance shaped. The flowers which appear in summer are white.

How to grow

Cultivation

Grows best in full sun and a mildly acidic to neutral soil that is moist but well-drained, but can also tolerate wetter soils. Able to withstand cold temperatures when mature, but shelter from cold, drying winds especially when young. See eucalyptus cultivation

Propagate by seed at 13-18°C in spring and summer
