Events Operations

Plan, organise and manage a variety of inspiring RHS events and shows that bring people and communities together in a celebration of gardening

Showcasing the world of gardening

Our RHS Shows are the highlight of many people’s gardening calendars, not to mention the varied seasonal events that we host at our five RHS Gardens. We are the teams who ensure those events are always creative, fresh and innovative. Join us and you’ll help to bring new plants and garden designs to a wider audience and inspire gardeners across the world.

You might be helping to design and develop a show space or bringing the festive season alive at one of our garden light shows. You could be selecting and managing exhibitors to wow our visitors, or you may be managing projects, ensuring they run smoothly. Whatever your role, you’ll be at the heart of our work to excite people about gardens and gardening.

Our Events Operations teams

Shows Development

We’re the team behind everything visitors see at the RHS Flower and Garden Shows. From show gardens at RHS Chelsea, allotments at RHS Hampton Court and school gardens at RHS Tatton Park, each show takes up to 18 months of planning. Join us and you could be part of creating a particular show. It’s about understanding what our visitors are looking for from show surveys, meeting garden designers so you are confident they’ll deliver what we’re looking for and visit nurseries to find the best of the best. Lots of teamwork brings it all together successfully.

Garden events

We’re the team that organises the various garden events hosted at one, or all, of our five RHS Garden locations. From our Easter and summer holiday offerings, private and corporate hire, to our spectacular RHS Glow and the tasty Festival of Flavours. Join us and you’ll help to make every visit feel memorable, enticing people to keep coming back. You’ll have the chance to collaborate within a close-knit team to design each event from conception to delivery, while introducing new audiences to the world of gardening, and putting your own stamp on the RHS experience.
