Nestled on the edge of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, RHS Harlow Carr has a rich history of sharing the joy, science, and wellbeing of horticulture. The site began as Victorian spa baths, tapping into the area’s natural sulphur springs, and was transformed into gardens in 1946 to trial plants suited to the northern climate.
Since 2001, under the RHS, the garden has grown into a vibrant 58-acre garden, showcasing ornamental design, biodiversity, and Yorkshire heritage – a place to inspire, educate, and delight every visitor.
