When I left school, I started my horticultural career with an apprenticeship at Ventnor Botanic Gardens on the Isle of Wight where I grew up. I then spent nine years at RHS Garden Wisley before moving to Devon to take up a post at RHS Garden Rosemoor with my wife. Five years ago I became Curator and have since enjoyed the challenges of two children and the continuing development of these beautiful gardens.
