Whether you’re new to gardening, or a keen gardener wanting to learn more, come along and learn about the jobs you should be doing in your garden at this time of year.

Your tutor, Gillian, will provide you with handy tips, techniques, and advice on seasonal tasks in both the ornamental and the vegetable garden such as pruning, taking hardwood and root cuttings, making and using your own compost and garden planning for the year ahead.

As part of the RHS Garden Bridgewater workshop, you will be invited to take part in a short walk and talk around easily accessible areas of the site at the end of the session. This walk (Or Wheel) and talk will review what can be seen in the garden now, and what jobs are being undertaken to ensure a fantastic display later in the year. Appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather conditions are advised.

Ticket price includes garden entry and Tea & Coffee. This workshop is suitable for Adults of all gardening abilities.

Tutor: Gillian Mostyn, RHS Education Officer
