Join the Bridgewater Gardening Advice Team as they explore the world of tiny terrariums.

Bring Your Own Terrarium: A beginner‑friendly workshop where we explore the tiny, tranquil and truly transformative world of terrariums.

Be sure to bring a medium to large clear glass container you love, and join Clare and Andy, our RHS Gardening Advice Gurus, to enjoy hands‑on planting, and micro‑gardening mastery with terrarium tips and techniques to help your marvellous miniature landscape thrive.

The advice team will cover the basics of constructing and caring for these mini plant worlds and there will be an opportunity for you to make a terrarium of your very own.

Tutors:  Andy Vernon - Senior Horticultural Advisor at RHS Garden Bridgewater: Andy previously ran his own gardening media business but originally studied and trained in horticulture at the University of Nottingham and the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew. His passions include a love of dahlias and colourful perennials, and being part of the Bridgewater Green Team that explores more sustainable gardening practices across the garden. He is dedicated to increasing public understanding of all kinds of gardening and the well-being benefits of growing plants.

Clare Preston-Pollitt - Horticultural Advisor at RHS Garden Bridgewater: Clare is a gardener, indoor and outdoor planting designer, and RHS Horticultural Advisor, with an obsession for transforming drab, unloved spaces into green wonderlands. Alongside her practical work, Clare encourages others to enjoy the benefits and beauty of plants in their everyday lives by regularly hosting talks and workshops on a range of plant-related topics.
