Join RHS Horticulturalist Matt McLoughlin to learn the art of pruning wisteria in Summer, ensuring the plant is healthy and performing at its best.

Matt will guide you through the correct methods of Summer pruning and the reasons behind each type of cut, along with pruning principles that can be adapted to many other plants. Whether you have a wisteria at home that needs taming or simply a love for this beautiful climber, this course is perfect for you.

Tutor: Matt McLoughlin, RHS Horticulturalist
Matt has studied horticulture for 18 years and has been at RHS Garden Bridgewater for three years. He is passionate about encouraging and teaching the next generation of gardeners about the benefits of gardening and how to support nature's ecosystem. 

Location and Arrival information:
This course will be held in the Learning Studios, followed by a demonstration in the learning greenhouse and then into the garden at RHS Garden Bridgewater. Please dress according to the weather conditions on the day.

For this workshop, you will need: all tools and materials will be provided. 

Catering: Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.
