Starting with a one-hour guided tour of the Hyde Hall Hilltop Garden, we'll show you a range of bat friendly plants and discuss ways to encourage these lovely creatures into your garden. We then head off to the Essex Wildlife Trust's Visitor centre at Hanningfield Reservoir for refreshments and the opportunity to watch the bats emerging from their roost.
