Bring your home-educated children to RHS Garden Hyde Hall for a morning of discovery and garden exploration led by our Education Officers. Our educational workshops are curriculum-adjacent and designed to support your home-education activities.

This workshop is a 90-minute science-focused session aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils. We will explore the importance of plants and habitats through hands-on activities. The workshop may include indoor and outdoor activities – please come dressed accordingly.

Following your workshop, you are welcome to explore the garden. Accompanying adults are responsible for their children at all times.

Please arrive promptly for a 10.30am start at the Welcome Building, where an Education Officer will meet you.

A booking for this workshop includes garden admission and entry for one child with an accompanying adult. Any additional adults will need to pay the garden admission fee. Babes in arms free.
