In becoming an RHS member or making a purchase, I agree to the RHS using my details to process my membership/ purchase and to, provide me with membership services and manage my membership.
The RHS and its subsidiaries will also keep in touch with you to share news, and special offers relating to events, membership, products, services and fundraising. We’ll never sell your data to any third party as we respect your privacy.
You can unsubscribe from mail, emails or phone calls at any time by contacting [email protected] or calling 020 3176 5810 (we’re open weekdays 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays).
Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your membership order without a reason within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract. To cancel an order, you must contact us via e-mail at [email protected] or by writing to:

You may use this model cancellation form but you do not have to. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is enough for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the Membership Pack, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. If you paid by Direct Debit, then instead of arranging any reimbursement through us you will need to request reimbursement through an indemnity claim with your own bank. Please contact us so that we can explain what you need to do.
You shall send back the membership pack, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
As with Individual & Joint membership you requested that your membership benefits start within the cancellation period, we will charge you for any membership benefits you have taken before you cancel, such as a visit to a garden or purchase of discounted tickets. The charge will be in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated to us your cancellation from this contract, in comparison with the full contract.
Membership Products Returns Policy
At the RHS we guarantee only to send you top quality membership products and membership gifts and will inspect everything carefully before it leaves us to make sure it's in excellent condition. However, if you do have a problem, here is what to do:
Incorrect Products
If we sent you something you haven't ordered please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 working days unused in its original packaging for a full refund of the price of the goods and delivery (and any reasonable costs you may have incurred in returning the goods to us).
Damaged In Transit
If your product pack is damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 days and either get a replacement or a refund of the price of the goods and delivery. Please make sure you give us your order number and return the item in its original packaging.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is defective, please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 days and either get a replacement or a refund of the price of the goods and delivery. Please make sure you give us your order number and return the item in its original packaging.
Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility.
