A compact perennial to around 80cm in height, with textured, slightly scalloped dark green foliage, sometimes with purple highlights. Large, attractive blue-purple flowers with dark purple calyces appear from May to September

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in light, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Best in full sun but can tolerate light, partial shade

Propagation

Propagate by seed sown at 15-18°C or division in spring, or by semi-ripe cuttings in summer
