A deciduous, bushy, large shrub or small tree with mid-green, ovate leaves, reaching 4m in height, ideal for smaller gardens. Flowers are fragrant, goblet shaped, white with dark and mid-pink tinge from the base. Flowers slightly later in the spring so less susceptible to frost damage in milder areas.

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in full sun or light shade with shelter from cold winds. Late frost may damage the flower buds. For more information see magnolia cultivation

Propagate by softwood cuttings from late spring to early summer or semi-ripe cuttings from late summer to autumn
