A compact deciduous shrub to 1m high, with broadly oval, serrated green leaves that are tinted red when young. Dome-shaped clusters of bi-coloured, star shaped flowers are produced in summer. Flowers are white, flushed and edged with pinkish red, though the tint colour varies slightly depending on the pH of the soil

Cultivation
