An evergreen shrub 3m tall with flat, oval-shaped, slightly glossy variegated dark green and white leaves, fully dark green underneath. Small, strongly fragrant white flowers in erect racemes appear in spring if the shrub is not pruned regularly, followed by cherry-like red fruits turning to glossy black. A relatively new variety introduced in 2006
