Norway maple 'Maculatum'
Small, fast-growing, deciduous tree about 10m tall, with large, broad, 3-5 lobed dark green leaves to 15cm long, densely spotted with cream and yellow in early summer then in autumn the leaf colour is clear bright yellow occasionally flushed red. Conspicuous clusters of yellow flowers are produced on bare stems in mid spring followed by greenish-brown winged fruits in summer
